Tim's Cajun Kitchen is hands down my favorite restaurant in the Huntsville area. When it comes to Cajun cuisine, it ranks among the best I've ever experienced. During a recent dinner visit, I indulged in the Dinner Platter (3 options) with seafood gumbo, seafood jambalaya, fried okra, and the irresistible bread pudding. The food was not only delicious but incredibly comforting, making it a challenge to put my utensils down. Our waitress embodied the true spirit of Southern hospitality, enhancing the overall dining experience. If you have any fondness for Cajun cuisine, this spot is an absolute must-visit. And trust me, the bread pudding is nothing short of exceptional—it's easily one of the best desserts I've ever had and the ultimate bread pudding treat. Just reminiscing about this place has me craving their food all over again.
I've been going off and on for years and it just keeps getting better and better. Tracy was awesome, the atmosphere is great, kid friendly (there's a separate room located next to the patio that the kids and parents can hear the band) the food is great, smoker friendly patio, full bar, great live entertainment. 5 stars all around!
It feels real good to have some food that reminds us of Louisiana while in Alabama. Tim and Donna are such sweet people and if you're ever in this area please make it here! We were in a private room so we didn't get the full experience but when I visit Huntsville again I'm making this my first stop.
Not bad. Place seemed a little run down and old, but the staff and food were both great and that's what really matters I suppose. Lol
Come for the food if nothing else- it's incredible! I haven't had a chance to visit since a teen but the food is still DELICIOUS. Even my daughters who are picky eaters sang praises between smacking on their burgers and po'boy. If you love HEAT get the smoked wings- HAVE MERCY! They're so good and get spicier with every bite. Service was great and food was cooked and served timely. The lights are a bit dim, great for date night but not so much with children. I will definitely go back.
First time I visit Tim’s Cajun kitchen and I have no complaints. Great customer service, nice atmosphere and awesome food. All of us were satisfied. Our nephew ordered the gator po’boy and he had it before in another place, he said this one from Tim’s was more flavorful. The gumbo sausages had that smoky flavor in it. Everything was perfectly seasoned!!! I will definitely go back!
Fried green tomatoes were very good. It was very well seasoned. The fried okra was nothing to brag about. It was adequate, and the porkchop was a little dry. Conversely, the service was fast, friendly, and professional. The price for value seemed fair. I definitely will go back and try another dish.
This was my second time at Tim's and I have never been disappointed. This time I was there for lunch and got the crawfish etouffee, which came with 2 sides. So I got the Cajun corn and bread pudding. The food was amazing and the portions were a good size. The service was great and my server was prompt and friendly.
